LONGi, a world leader in solar technology, approached us with a clear mission: to increase brand awareness and engagement in the MENA region. Our role was to craft and execute a compelling social media campaign that spoke to the heart of their audience through localized, creative content. LONGi’s technical expertise was already well-established, but they needed a human touch—a strategy that went beyond product specs and dove into the real-world impact of solar technology. Our focus was to build a narrative that highlighted solar’s benefits, not just for businesses but for individuals and communities.

Our Approach

We developed a four-pronged strategy focused on visual appeal, cultural relevance, educational content, and engagement:

  • Cultural Alignment: We analyzed the MENA market, identifying key cultural markers and values. From language localization to selecting imagery that resonates with regional aesthetics, we designed creative content that struck a chord with the local audience.
  • Storytelling Through Data: LONGi’s innovation is driven by data, so we translated complex statistics into easy-to-digest visuals. Infographics and animations simplified concepts such as solar panel efficiency, sustainability, and long-term savings, making them accessible to a broader audience.
  • Brand Guideline Creation: One of the biggest challenges LONGi faced was the lack of a consistent brand voice for the MENA region. We created a tailored brand guideline that defined everything from color schemes to content tone, ensuring a consistent, professional, and approachable image across all platforms.

We conducted a testing phase using key social media tools to understand what type of content would gain traction:

  • Content Formats: We tested various content formats, including 60-second videos, animated infographics, and carousel posts to determine what resonated best.

We collected feedback from the client after the initial delivery of the visual content. Making necessary revisions based on their feedback, we ensured their satisfaction. Finally, we delivered the final versions of the visual content to the client.

  • Video Success: Short-form videos generated an average of 2,000 plays per post, with a 40% higher engagement rate compared to static posts.
  • Localized Impact: Content focused on countries like Algeria (20.8%), Egypt (19.3%), and Yemen (14%) drove the highest engagement, proving the success of our regional approach.
  • Follower Increase: LONGi’s Arabic Facebook page grew by 17.87%, adding 25,720 new followers, up from 143,915 in the previous period.
